I know that even though you posted the shorter sales last time - somebody arc'd up and suggested that that had nothing to do with the price moving South.

Of course it will encourage the price South, that's what shorting is....trying to trigger stop losses (or general nervousness) and having a domino effect as people get nervous.

I have noticed that it does seem easier to short a company that is not into self promotion - plenty of void between some announcements and a sector coming off a over hyped period - albeit short, it's all psychological.
