Remember that PA is leaving a legacy. He is passing the knowledge onto his son (who is also in the engineering field). As @Moush mentioned, he is a family man and wants to provide for his family, friends and region. His life has been based around these Salars / Salta's. As BTH stated, the recipe for the process would be listed in the patent. Currently no recipe exists in the public forum, bar that in PA's and close associates close circle. That cannot be stolen.
