    People saying why not get cheap money from a bank, if anyone living in perth at the moment has any idea of the construction industry it is going crazy. so to just "get cheap money from a bank" will take atleast 3-5 months for a loan application, he may risk losing the property having to wait for finance approval.

    just a logical reason as to why cash on hand now may be easier
