Speaking of the share price, and to go off on a little tangent, does the fact that the ASX doesn't offer free real-time quotes frustrate anyone else? Is there some place to see them?
I'll pay for real time ASX quotes when I'm buying or selling and but I let my subscription lapse now that I'm just holding and it's not something I'm used to here in North America. We'll pay for level 2 quotes but real time share prices are readily available. It just seems weird that even the ASX website has a 20 minute delay. I guess subscription revenue is that important to them but it seems like the real time share price should be something investors have a right to see free of charge.
