i went to the agm.
it was mostlly gruntled old people there

and how could we forget the german who came all the way from germany. he busted dougs balls about the appointment of chris as a director for ages. pretty rutheless considering he is probably one of the parties that drove the stock down.

and then there was the dude that wouldnt shut up about the rights issue as a way of raising additional capital. if he knew his stuff he would see that the only way for the company to move forward is to get "the big boys" on board and have institutions instead of a rights issue to "long term" holders like himself.

there was a good explanation of the companys future intented operations by chris and doug and some of the geo side material by bruno. chris also explained why the american placement fell through, it was basically because the felt those americans werent gonna be long term holders and were basically in the market for arbitrage reasons. chris also alluded to another possible positive announcement before xmas.

although this seems to be going nowhere in the short term it is still a definite long term winner imo.
