    Certainly the lack of anything new seemed to offend Spirax. The general mood at and after the AGM seemed to be hopeful, quietly confident, positive - perhaps hearing that speculation is indeed well-founded is sufficient for some people.

    Personally, I don't see the absence of any news to be negative, unless you want it to be. If I was a conspiracy theorist I could suggest that someone was trying to talk the price down to suit their own purposes!

    But I'd have thought that any news would be released to the whole market, not just 50-60 people there (sure they'd know quickest, but if some of your biggest shareholders couldn't act on it...). Do companies really save market sensitive announcements up for AGM's, and risk upsetting the ASX or their shareholders?

    Oh dear, my frustration at transparent ramper posts (not you, Pom!) has collided with my APG-fuelled BAC. Sorry about that.
