I think they just didn't want to get lynched.

One thing I've noticed throughout Hot Copper on spec stocks is that a lot of posters .and I'm presuming that they're all inexperienced ,is that they wait for announcements and take for granted verbatim what the company is saying ,generally repeating the positive slant and then reading as much extra positive bias as they can into it.

In spec stocks you can divide most things the company says by 10 .Particularly if the company's in trouble they'll put whatever spin they can on it to make out that everything's hunky dory.

I thought everyone knew that so it's been a bit of an eye opener for me since I become interested in this site...and thinking it through logically that's why they keep doing it
