Hi Viney, we agree with the rental car option from Greymouth, our preferred place to stay is Hokitika, not too far from Greymouth. Certainly Denniston is worth a visit and Blenheim has a worthwhile aviation museum, short distance from Picton. If you choose to fly back from Wellington, quite a bit to do in the area as well, Days Bay, Botanic Gardens etc, even the Beehive if you're interested. All the roads in the South Island are very good. See you at the meeting. Cheers.
