Further to my post above, the cynic in me suggests that the directors set this resolution up before the AGM knowing that there is nothing palatable about it, especially having regard to share price performance and revenue figures to date. Do they expect that to change within the next 2 weeks from now? That really would be the only reason that might result in a swell of support for the directors and, consequently, this windfall resolution being passed. And so if the shareprice skyrockets on the back of great news, everyone will be inclined to give the directors a pat on the back and approve the resolutions. But even then, the votes would be rewarding past performance, not future, and so that would not be a valid reason for putting these resolutions forward. I must say I'm somewhat disturbed by these resolutions for a multitude of reasons now.
