agm - why didnt they know ?

Some random thoughts fro the AGM.

First - Why didnt they know that HAB-3 was going to blow ?
Yes, the decision to use that casing was made before the full chemistry of the brine was known. But once the full analysis was done the hydrogen embrittlement should have been predicatable. I spoke to several at the AGM - still didnt get a satisfactory answer.

Second - Interest rates and access to debt to build the Commercial demonstration plant, and then the first (albeit smaller @ 25mw ) power station. Interesting taht this was seen as a major future risk - more so than the technologies that are required to be developed.

Third - Multi fracture Stimulation / Drilling. This technology is till seen to be key to the business model, but, a lot less of a worry than it was twelve months ago. Maybe there has been progress here that they wernt prepared to make public.

Finally, as suspected Hab-1 / Hab-3 a lost cause - Time to move on.
