good post auscan, i noticed the realism in the post which is a good thing....its hard not to get caught up in the emotion of a potential JV partnership and success story but we also have to acknowledge the realism too, its hard work marketing a costly deepwater exploration lease, for anyone let alone a small 41m MC junior, who most probably have never heard of. thats why if ME pulls this off, he deserves his options IMO

first hunt gave away their interest, then shell walked, and now it has been 6 months since JV neg began and still nothing, ME has brought in GB as a hedge to any failure to sign a JV with senegal....and i applaud him of this, great strategy

although their is some chance a JV may not be signed, i struggle to accept the fact...

worst case scenario, ME should just jet off to china, knock on the door of a cnooc and sell the interest to them, im sure if ME offers the lease to cnooc for a minimal $$ amount they are not going to let such an opportunity go, this is why im thinking a JV is..... almost...certain.

patience is not as easy as said than done, when you have significant wealth invested in such a company, but im sticking with this one, i think ME will win this battle, and tullow will be joining forces within 2 months
