Am new to HotCopper and this is my first entry. Attended AGM and held pixel chip in my shakey little hand. Announcement is very imminent. The reason it is taking longer is that AKP is not just giving this away and is holding out for the best deal possible. AKP has patents sown up world wide which cover every level of production process. Whoever the deal is with will get a period of exclusivity. Most new electronic products take 15-18 months to develop and market so it will be a while before this pixel actually hits the market. When it does so, it will apparently be in multi millions of units. The cost of each unit, which has yet to be finalised, will determine market which could include motor vehicles, mobile phones etc. etc. There has already been an enquiry from one country's motor vehicle manufacturer. The pixel would replace speakers in the doors.
