Aside from the actual chip, they had a larger (approx 15x15cm) model which showed how it worked. It resembled something like honeycomb, open at one end only and a miniature diaphragm at the other end worked electronically. I'm afraid I am not at all technical. I understood the basics of it at the time but it's hard to put into words now. A very positive meeting though. Some very searching questions were asked at the meeting and were answered well.
