Guys,
put yourself in the "shoes of this family". The mine is not profitable, do you want to close the mine and sell hamburgers? As far as I know, hamburgers does not give you $500,000 a year with air conditioned office and nice suits.
Why not keeping the mine operational and cover the cost by taking money from the shareholders plus getting dream salary?
It is not the family fault that the shareholders are idiots! (I consider myself idiot and ex-shareholder and I do blame myself and not the directors). I sold after the third time they did not deliver what they promise.
