I don't believe that it will be viewed as a base metals play for a while yet (at least a couple of years, until Jervois comes online). I personally am in KGL for the Gold projects and the leverage it gives to the gold price, which I see as only up as the current de-leveraging and money printing plays out.
Having ridden the OXR/OZL train from 10c to $4.00 and back, the prospect of going from a goldie to base metal producer (predominatly) makes me shudder still.

I'd like KGL to remain a pure gold play with Jervois being spun off once value is built.
