Unfortunately I'm not fishing :(

This is the way I see it.
For three weeks I have seen evidence that the gold sector (and now maybe non gold sector as well) may be ready to turn.
I have seen occassional very strong rallies on certain stocks- often the ones that may have been more heavily traded and shorted.
These short covering rallies suggest a strong turn may be near. These sort of rallies are usually led by the larger stocks and we have to wait a little longer for the smaller ones to follow once the trend is more established.
These are still volatile and will have bad days as well as good but yesterday appeared to be another strong short covering day;

AQG was up 6%, NMG up 6%, KCN up 6%, EAU up 6%, PRU up 8.8%, RMS 10% and some non gold’s doing even better; LYC up 18%, LNC up 15%.
