Your post just brought back a lot of memories from the mid
70s when I was working at Mary K. We worked 7/10 hr shifts
and then headed into the Isa for a little entertainment and
it always was a 6 pack trip. Couldnt do it these days and
often look back and wonder how we did it then ????

Have they given the town a birthday or something lately as I called in for a quick look when I was up for the AGM 2 years ago and the roads were falling apart with wash outs etc and I could not get to the old campsite as I only had a car and not 4wd. The road to the minesite looked in bad shape so I didnt even try that.

As i am going to the AGM and will have a 4wd this time so I will make a effort to revisit.
