What happened to the promise of buying out Bevan at the last AGM?

From what I understood he said that the time wasn't right and that we are dealing with a difficult vendor. Or something along those lines.

Let's face it, HAW's eyes must have light up after Nanda made that comment of buying them out at the last AGM so MAYBE they wanted more or didn't want to budge on price or were just being difficult so Indians thought stuff you, let's sit and wait.

Was it the right decision?
