Attendance at the AGM is probably going to be like in the early days of Lumacom when they struggled to get 20-30 people there, unlike in the boom years about 2 years ago when there was a queue outside the front door and down Ord St, where only the people that arrived in the early hours of the morning actually were able to get a seat in the auditorium, where Sala's & Goodrichs autograph was wanted by all. 100 Lumacom signs in 5 years, $1mill revenue per sign, company profitable in that financial year, 4 signs on 4TS, 30-50 around Europe, market cap. $75mill - woohoo, they were the days. They are just a distant fuzzy memory. Now the shareholders are striving for any paying advertiser on 4TS, a few hundred dollars for each of the Turkey signs per year, the Barcelona JV partner to work out if they are ever going to give LUM any money for the advertising or whether they are going to claim that the sign is still not generating enuf revenue to offset expenses. And most of all, 5c would be considered a good share price nowadays and 10c would be simply sensational.
Not sure if I'm looking forward to the day when all the sufferers of Lumacomitis, past and current shareholders and the management have a quiet drink down together, reminiscing about the good ole days, in the park surrounding the psychiatric hospital in Shenton Park
