I went and saw the last day of the trial in the Brisbane Supreme Court and whilst I'm no legal expert, It was quite clear what the verdict was going to be. In my opinion, all three were convincingly and embarrassingly defeated on the stand and I wasn't surprised to see such a scathing assessment by the chief Justice. Assuming the arguments I saw on that day were all that Jones and Co have up their sleeves, there is absolutely no need to provision for any loss.
Despite wanting the company to find a partner and enjoy some success as much as every other shareholder, I actually don't mind some of the cash raised over the years going towards bringing Jones and Co to justice; even if we can't recover any of the capital that was stolen (although that would be nice)
