I think dilution will be largely avoided by using financial partners with upfront costs such as WaaS, I think it was the investor phone call when management stated that they were focused on non-dilutive financing when possible. I think a takeover in the range of $2-3 billion dollars is conceivable, with ~ 225m shares fully diluted (correct me if wrong), this equates to ~$10. I know someone posted saying that Eytan was confident of a multi billion dollar MC. If someone wants EMC though they're going to have to pay a large premium early on, if it builds momentum and gets a solid foothold in China the concept of a takeover at $2-3 billion will be gone. I think a lot of Top 20 have spent a lot of time researching and see the potential of this stock and won't settle for anything but fair value + a premium. They're presentation slide on acquisition states that 'companies acquirable once field-proven', if anything I'm almost scared a TO will come too early. I have my 2c on GE with a TO offer. It won't be overnight, but it will definitely be worth it.
