You guys are spot on with this......its a period where Directors including management and any staff of the company are unable to trade company shares, from memory its part of the company's constitution/regulation etc. Also there is another which is known as the Black-Out period and company Directors are unable to trade shares due to an impending announcement that is material in nature.....something like that anyway.
