FAR has done well as an explorer and with fellow holders such as yourself onboard I feel I'm in good company. I see upside when oil sentiment swings.
FAR still seem to be confused with the different requirements for the notification in the case of a change of control though which is very sad - their gun lawyers are a waste of a few hundred thousand it seems.
They got the notification - so long as it had a value for the 35% JV asset and an explanation of the method of valuation (like 2.12$ per barrel 2C ) then all is good from COP and it could be covered in a 1 page note.
FAR and other JV partners were not entitled to the terms of the complex transaction - the share sale, they are only entitled to the valuation of the JV asset so they can PE that JV asset. They seem to consistently stick to the false belief that they were entitled to see WPL detailed share sale terms which was not part of the JV. intriguing but odd. Why didnt they pay the value on the one pager and take the JV asset?
Thank goodness they are talented explorers!
