The topic of mediation has been covered before in previous FAR statements I think. FAR have stated in the past and also at the AGM that mediation was attempted but COP failed to turn up. Obviously mediation is not a public process, especially if the government would like to keep the dispute quiet.
FAR also said at the AGM that that COP announced sale completion before the mediation period was over. FAR was adamant that the sale does not have government approval.
