The vote is determined way before the AGM via the proxy forms sent in. The show of hands is just a formality as the voting
via the proxies have already determined the outcome.
Depending upon how some vote will determine the outcome of the items on the Agenda.
Todays resignation by Harrison is a result of the behind the scenes pressure by certain shareholders.
As previously indicated I was disgusted at the performance of Turbott at the last AGM as well as the venue.
My understanding is that the venue has changed hands, been spruced up and the format of the AGM will include
a somewhat limited presentation by Turbott followed by a presentation by Isles, then Winter then Smith.
Profile wise they are bowing to pressure but we need deals!
If Turbott does not perform within 6 months he will be removed at the request of the Chairman (via shareholder requests/demands) and if he refused via a special resolution called for by shareholders.
Cheers
