Look, it was told to me like this, Acorn, amongst other things, runs private equity/family office style investment vehicles for commissions. When one, or more, of those entities needs to liquidate then that’s what they’ll do - and they did. In this case, according to my advice, Acorn was simply doing what it was told to do.
Of course, I’m only retailing the story, I have no personal knowledge about it, but I am quoting a usually reliable source.
