Chuck that will no doubt be the largest cost in the supply chain (getting the road in order). But bear in mind all Australia's current potash (both SOP and MOP) are trained from the heart of Saskatchewan to the west coast of BC and then shipped half way across the world to Australia. Once the SOP is into Newman there will likely be backloading options down the Great Northern Hwy, or indeed trucking straight to Hedland for export to Asia.
The single most important cost advantage RWD will have over and above all potash salt producers is that the evaporative cost is free from solar. Most other producers utilise natural gas and in particular in North America, there are serious issues to do with supply constraints emerging. So costs of production will only increase for such producers. Here the cost of the sun remains relatively constant :) Good luck! Not a conventional story here so will require patience.
