There was really a presentation as such, just question time, which lead into some explanation of what is/has happened so far.
Sounds as though Alan Doyle thinks very little of the cambodia assets(in relation to SA assets), hence the movement to transol, for what is essentially 30million shares to run with.
Very upbeat on SA. Strongly believes that the market doesnt really understand the enormity of the plat assests. Therefore they are going to look at a listing of Platinum Mining Ventures through London.
They had been having having talks with North America for a capital position, but the offer brought to the table would have required, in alans words, the "KY" to be close at hand. Ultimately those talks appear to have ended. They are now in discussion with 2 partys through London, one being a broker. from memory they are chasing about 20 million initially, but I stand to be corrected.
The Plat demerger is hoped to be around the 1for1, 1for2, depending on the investment from London, with option holders having notice and time for conversion before the distribution
This would leave GAU holding Morokweng......for now.
Long term (5 years say) they are looking at another possible demerger from GAU, but that will depend on the directions they are looking at taking in the mean time.
Imaging on Morokweng will be done soon, obviously interpreted, and any anomalies targeted for drilling. alan again upbeat on this saying with the distance covered by the meteorite, and only 4 drills basically just stuck in the ground without much thought(yes they just jagged that 27% nickel by the sounds of it), they would be fairly confident that some major anomalies will be identified and followed up.
One last thing, dare I say it...... The U word was bandied around and discussions are presently in process regarding an area in SA. Even mentioned the possibility of Morokweng having U.
thats all I can think of for now.
cheers
