I attended the AGM which has only just finished. John De Vries attended via zoom from Tanzania where they continue to work on the FCI. While he was unable to elaborate on exactly what is happening due to obvious confidentiality issues his general demeanour was quite positive. It was said that the company now has a clear understanding of where it stands and is confident in being able to deliver the FCI. This confidence can be seen reflected in the recent new hires, that they are now beginning the contractor engagement processes and that work on funding (which had been halted while awaiting clarification of the FCI) has now recommenced.
Whilst I am none the wiser as to when we will see an announcement on the FCI, I left the meeting feeling much more comfortable that it is only a matter of time (and hopefully a short time at that).
