Gas sales here are usually done under a competitive bidding system whereby the winning bidder gets the sales contract . I haven’t been involved in gas sales for some years now and have lost any idea of what current buyers are paying. The sellers don’t publicise their prices . Needless to say there is not a lot of competition and in our case , if we were to bid for a gas sales contract , we would probably need to outbid the likes of Woodside, Santos and maybe some of those recent discoveries in the Perth Basin, all of which have their infrastructure in place or are very close to the north-south pipeline . Consequently , I don’t think we will be aiming for domestic gas sales to southern industrial users . Sorry I can’t help more.
