I think you are missing the point made by Basileus.

As a representative of a company, especially one that has (allegedly) been chosen to provide marketing information to the Shareholders and public via social media as well as more formal channels (ASX etc), one should expect to be given clear and concise information regarding your Investments. If the information posted is of a public nature (such that it pertains to company information), Social media is a public record, whether you delete it or not. As a company representative, you are no longer merely a faceless member of the public, but a person who is now accountable and held to a much higher standard. That is not to say what we post should be a free for all (which is why there are HC terms and conditions).
