Interesting, when new technology is introduced it usually brings about change in how a service is conducted ie should AGN succeed in bringing their drug to market giving hospitals and first responders a new treatment in their armoury, I suspect all ambulances will carry refrigeration (I believe a lot of them do already in certain countries). Availability will probably be the least of their problems I'd imagine (where there's a will there's always a way). But compared to NYR they appear to have an advantage in deployability. Still, as mentioned it's all very nascent but it's an exciting frontier nonetheless. Clinuvel has a peptide afamelanotide which they are trialling in stroke also and their drug is already approved. They are not aggressive so it remains to be seen how long it will take them to expand the label, but they should be considered a threat also...
