My guess is that the 40000 is an opening order to be drawn on over the new few months (years?) of which they may have drawn a couple of thousand (most of which are in someones garage). The 2600 orders they have will be direct shipped from AEE. The coloured rova's are off the table till they can give AEE a decent order.......

Did you notice the Ham promo material shows the white drone and no brand markings. The text also makes no mention of Rova. I appreciate they are trying to differentiate the product they are offering but what good does it do IOT if the brand name is not promoted? Does giving them the white drone mean white is off the table for everyone else?

I personally don't think the colour will dramatically influence the sales of this product but agree with you its just another miss representation of the available product offering.

The AEE / IOT relationship will be interesting to watch over the coming months.......
