I am a long term believer in AGO bit I'm not sure how anyone can have any faith investing in the ASX at the moment. Fancy losing 25% in a couple of weeks!
The pronounced volatility over the past 6 months is impossible to pick for mere mortals, and outfits like Goldman Sachs are no doubt making a mint out of people who dare to stick their toe in the water.
I suppose you could pick a bad day like today and buy up for a long term hold but the whole economic system is still a bit of a worry if you ask me. What is a bad day? $1.85, $1.50? $0.60? All it takes is for a few book cooking stories to come out about "real" growth figures in China and anything could happen.
Rant over, sorry for being a pessimist. Go AGO go.
