    Exactly redrocker,

    Broker reccos mean nothing unless it's coming from a broker where you've developed a relationship.

    Some 30% of AGO assets on the book are valued at AGO's share price, so naturally they'll be written down... but if the share price rockets up, it'll just be written up. It means nothing at the operational level.

    Have a look at the BCI share register and compare it to AGO at the start of 2012... there was a lot of ETF buying into AGO (and none into BCI), as the ETF con-job is being wound down, AGO is sinking with it, the loose bits need to be churned out from AGO (and that's what we're seeing with the AGO chart).
