2:20pm: Some more from the Q&A session after the RBA chief's speech: in response to a question about China's softening economic data, Glenn Stevens said he felt the country's growth was still delivering what policy makers had wanted - a shift towards GDP figures of about 7 per cent.
He said perceptions of disappointing numbers coming out of China could be in part due to high expectations of growth that needed to be adjusted.
