Can someone explain how a takeover works?

Are there conditions for pre takeover holders vs after share holders???

Do retail shareholders get bought out?

Assuming retailer shareholders are not the best case is to buy out remaining bond holders if any and have MIN take a large position and use money to pay out exisiting debt by back the share register and perform a new joint venture under a new branded banner....MIN and AGO can share all infrastructure and resources...

Let’s face it AGO needs MIN on all fronts unles we see 100 / tonnne IO for at least a period of two years....

Myself MIN is a good move for a 3-5 cent buyback and joint venture security of let’s say Ridley and Lithium assests.
