Even though I disagree with this initial low ball bid, is there time for upside to play out and potential future bids to counter the initial bid? I'm all for a merge as long the price is right so LT AGO shareholders are better rewarded.

I'm interested if a better bid will be forthcoming providing better value to shareholders as:
1. IO price recovers and profits increase. How will that affect AGOs bid if debt is near squashed during this time from a few strong quarters. What if IO trends up during this time?
2. As Lithium DSO and Manganese JV income rolls in for AGO.
3. As all the trade war doom and gloom rolls back to reality from fear being no more than a negotiating table for China and US. Commodities remain robust.
4. Drilling begins for Mt Francisco and Pancho? Will it happen during this time? That's the status update AGO with regards to Lithium?
5. Other companies begin to understand the upside of merging with AGO given what benefits can be provided. FMG? MGX? And so forth...

As a shareholder, I'm not asking for the world, just a reasonable offer. I have nothing against AGO or MIN as they are both great companies and I have been a supporter of AGO management in what it has achieved in principle. AGO / MIN merge or similar makes sense to me and in theory will provide a solid foundation of mining greatness leveraging off each others strengths but not for the initial price proposed. At the right price. Yes.

AGO and MIN. Go back behind closed doors please, come out with a suitable offer and I may consider a yes vote following a better deal and details from AGO/MIN of what will happen with exploration regarding AGOs tenements following such a merge. We want upside and returns.
What do WE get out of this strategic merge?

Check out the manipulation leading into the TO news lol. Yes IO was dropping but it’s mkt cap was pretty low i don’t think it was justified. It got a massive short out of the blue during that week of the sell off and remember that huge CXXT trade that had us talking. All the while our bod said nothing. Breach of disclosure imo.
