Debt per se is not bad, in fact its essential to maintain life as we know it.
Its debt servicing that can be the problem. So far, FMG has stated that it does not have a debt servicing problem.
With their modern state of the art infrastructure and resource, I think that they are in an excellent position. What they have would be very keenly sought after, if it was to come up for sale.
