Don't know the full story (maybe old hands can help); but Atlas Iron was caught up in the iron ore price crash, like FMG, but had too much debt and not enough income. Debt has been halved with the help of Glencore. When the Iron Ore price goes again, so will Atlas.
At least that's what I'm hoping!
