hi guys... the swift ascent of AVQ on such volume is very encouraging - however, I just wonder if the buying will result in a new substantial shareholder? A multi-billion dollar nickel resource is up for grabs here, and AVQ is cheap - maybe a larger player is already making a move??

I said earlier this morning to a friend that the way I see AVQ is that they are a cheap call option on nickel prices and further global growth... I went on to say (in a philosophical sort of way) that although AVQ may struggle with capex based on yesterdays history and todays information, who knows what tomorrow might bring...

if Sumitomo really want this nickel asset, a multiple of AVQ's current market cap would still make it cheap for them in the long run!! (as a good example, refer to the LYC story on bloomberg.com today; "Lynas's Chief Turns Contrarian $5 Million Rare Earth Bet Into $3.5 Billion")
