Too funny, From one of my favourite bloggers.

In today’s major non-news event, ridiculous Clive Hamilton has quit the pointless Climate Change Authority.

Apparently he’s upset about coal talk:

The Turnbull government's recent embrace of coal-fired power shows it has "abandoned all pretense of taking global warming seriously", Climate Change Authority member Clive Hamilton said, explaining why he resigned from the agency.

Professor Hamilton, who teaches public ethics at Charles Sturt University, sent his resignation letter to Environment and Energy Minister Josh Frydenberg on Friday, saying it was "perverse" that the government would be boosting coal when 2016 marked the hottest year on record.

It’s perverse that the government hasn’t already shut down the agency, seeing as it obviously is doing nothing to give us milder weather. The hottest summer happened on your watch, Clive. Maybe France will provide Hamilton’s next job opportunity:

The 39-year-old told U.S. scientists to "please come to France, you are welcome ... we want people working on climate change, energy, renewables and new technologies."

Clive Hamilton, what can you say about him?
