I also believe in the greenhouse effect. Different mixtures of gasses will alter the amount of heat retained in a system. basic thermodynamics.
I think that is a given, I have never heard it denied. Bob Carter and Dick Lindzen, two vocal sceptics, have both said the greenhouse effect is real in emails to me. They just think the effect is muted.
I agree wholeheartedly that the fight should be against pollution but we must also GUARANTEE energy security. That must address the supply of liquid petroleum too. The world consumption is not about to drop any time soon.
