Cherry picking the absolute bottom of a graph and then drawing a trend line with your only reasoning being that it is the precise point that will best illustrate your views; even though the whole dataset shows the complete opposite trend - is against the very principles of science.
You would never be published because it is a fundamental distortion of the facts.
