But let's say you are totally on the money and AGY is going to make you a profit of $4000 off a $2000 investment over 5 years. That means you are thinking AGY would be sitting around $1.65~ in 5 years from now, in what world is that considered a "bad return"? Especially when you are considering AGY "low risk", in your own words. That's a 200% gain.

No if you are a meme investor chucking your $2000 into some stock hoping it will 100x and you'll be able to get out of your parents spare room, then no, maybe this isn't the stock for you. Go and find some lithium mining company that is trading at 0.005c per share and their business at this point is based around some bloke at the pub saying he's pretty sure it was lithium in the ground when he was digging a fence post on that lot over there... maybe you'll get lucky?
