Certainly have been some robust discussions on this thread. I think I'm with Quanta, georgecostanza, hurcorh, billy and the don't dilute unless you have to camp. If they have the funding for Pocitos and Mina Teresa... Then they need to get on with that and provide some results to the market from which they raised the capital. The sophs will want to see progress here.

There are 2 very distinct pathways ahead for AGY and this is based on having 2 exploration projects (fully funded) and another development/production project. Most companies in this space go for exploration (PNN) which starts with surveys, drilling, analysing, testing, confirming, scoping, feasibility etc to determine a resource. We have 2 of these projects with one already underway... I would consider it at survey stage as they're using historical results to provide targets to explore. And as I've said it's better to spend money effectively and explore the best areas primarily.

The second pathway is to develop and commercialise an existing project which potentially has a resource. This is what sets the company apart from the rest of the explorers. Having a project that could put them on the pathway to production quite quickly is incredible for a small market cap company like AGY.

As per the recent responses from Jerko, the company is gearing up for progressing Rincon and I think they will be able to provide more information to the market which might lift the SP especially if they are able to provide more information surrounding the project in technical terms and if there is a resource and test work that has been done (meaning an advanced project) then this information should be announced to the market. This will re-rate the SP. At present we know little about the size of any resource we may have at Rincon... Suppose lab scale test work is a success, suppose pilot plant testing is a success... The company then determines a production pathway... The market will need to know how long the project would be sustained based on resources? ... That depends on the size of resource, production capacity and possibility of finding more resources.. What baffles is me is the 75ha.. So when more details are known about Rincon the market will respond.

The overall big picture for AGY has always been great... It's now about the day to day specifics and what the company may hold that will make the difference. Raising money will only deflate the SP due to dilution. Unless that cash brought immediate results like additional land at Rincon which would ensure Rincon would be that much closer to being a fully fledged production pathway for AGY within a couple of years or less.
