My main interest in looking at the short numbers is to try & see just how much influence (read that as manipulation) of the share price the professionals have & use so as to try & understand & interpretation of the candles, volume & patterns for TA purposes.
Despite the fact that the data is obviously not always true it does have a lot of useful information that should be looked at in conjunction with all the other tools used for TA purposes.
