I don't understand why it was such a hot short, yes there was potential but I reckon there would have been much better risk/reward short opportunities elsewhere. The idea of shorting lithium in particular seemed like gambling imo
for most of them, I doubt they will actually come out with very large gains (unless they somehow perfectly timed the top and bottom)
