From the outset, someone could think holders have balls of steel but it is not difficult at all if:

1. You have an investment thesis - in my case "EV demand is going to skyrocket, and battery supply chain will be a good business"
2. You are not investing money you will need soon - "not buying a home in the next year"
3. You have assessed the value of the company so as to form an idea of when to enter and exit - "trading signals are not for me"
4. Regularly check for info that would impact your thesis (and re-assess 3)

With this I mean holding AGY might be seen as a leap of faith, but it is not different to buying any other share. In fact, Australian companies do communicate more than their European counterparts. Most companies I hold have 2 reports released per year and nothing in between!
