If your lookahead is 6 months, you are clearly in the wrong sector.
Obviously, those deploying supply chain capacity in the EV industry do that with a long-term view and there are plenty of examples of these.
Mass adoption of new technologies does not happen overnight, but the timeframe is reducing every time a new technology emerges. 30 years ago, hardly no one new about mobile phones (yet buy a terminal) and now many couldn't live without 5G.
